Introduction

The hydrogenations of coal liquefied crude oil usually include two steps: stable hydrogenation and hydro-upgrading. Stable hydrogenation is mainly used to improve properties of coal liquefied oil, especially stability. By stable hydrogenation, stable stream can be obtained for subsequent hydrogenation upgrading. Also bicyclic and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons can be partially hydrogenated and used to provide active hydrogen for the process of coal liquefaction.

Technical Characteristics

1. Process feature
The RCSH process can perform olefin saturation, aromatics saturation, hydrodeoxygenation, hydrodesulfurization, hydrodenitrogenation and greatly increase the hydrogen content at mild conditions. The RCSH process can provide high quality feedstocks for subsequent hydrogenation upgrading and hydrogen donor solvent with high hydrogen content for the process of coal liquefaction.
The RCSH process has a long running cycle because RGC series protective catalysts and RTC-2 main catalyst are loaded ahead.
The naphtha fraction from stable hydrogenation can be used as high quality feedstock for reforming process due to its high aromatic potential.
2. Operating flexibility
During normal production, the load of unit can be adjusted between 60% and 110%.
3. Adaptability of feedstock
The RCSH process introduces special catalysts for the hydrogenation of coal liquefied crude oil. The catalysts have high water resistance and hydrogenation activity and can process different coal liquefied crude oils.
