Introduction

The naphtha hydrotreating (NHT) technology developed by Sinopec is a process dealing with the straight-run naphtha characterized by high sulfur, nitrogen content or its mixed oil with secondary processed unit naphtha. The resulting products could meet the requirements of feedstock for catalytic reforming.

Technical Characteristics

1. Operation flexibility
The production process severity can be flexibly adjusted according to the property of feedstock in order to meet the requirements of products. Unit operating flexibility is high and can be operated in the range from 60% to 110% 
2. Adaptability of feedstocks
NHT can process straight-run naphtha or its mixed oil with secondary processed naphtha oil, such as FCC naphtha and coker naphtha, etc.
3. Performance
The process possess low operating pressure, high LHSV, and low hydrogen to oil ratio. After hydrotreating, impurities content of naphtha can meet requirements of reformer feedstock. 
4. Catalyst life cycle
The first operating cycle life is not less than 3 years and the total cycle life is not less than 9 years with regeneration in between.
