Introduction

Hydrotreating technology for coker naphtha developed by Sinopec can be applied to process a variety of coker naphtha feedstocks. The naphtha product could be used as feedstocks of naphtha reforming pre-hydrogenation, fertilizers or ethylene plant.  

Technical Characteristics

1. Operation flexibility
The production process severity can be flexibly adjusted according to the property of feed to obtain the qualified products. Unit operating flexibility is high and can be operated in the range of 60% to 110%.
2. Adaptability of raw materials
The main feedstock is coker naphtha or the secondary processed unit naphtha, like FCC naphtha or steam cracked naphtha.
3. Performance
The sulfur content of the coker naphtha after hydrotreating could be less than 10 µg/g and the nitrogen content less than 0.5 µg/g. The naphtha product could be used as feedstock for naphtha reforming pre-hydrogenation, fertilizers or ethylene feedstocks. 
4. Unit operation cycle
The first operating cycle life is not less than 2 years and the total cycle life is not less than 6 years after the main catalyst regeneration. Protective agents cannot be regenerated, and its life could be in consistent with the unit in operation.
