Introduction

SINOPEC diesel hydroupgrading-isodewaxing technology (FHI), aiming at the production of diesel for the cold seasons and regions, is designed to process a variety of middle distillate feedstocks including atmospheric gas oil (AGO), LCO, coker gas oil (CGO) etc., and maximize distillate yield while producing ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) with improved centane number, reduced aromatics, low density and low solidification point through reactions including hydrodesulfurization, hydrodenitrogenation, saturation, selective ring opening, moderate hydrocracking and isomerization. FHI technology can be used to meet all current and possible future premium diesel upgrading requirements.

Technical Characteristics

1. Operating flexibility
Single reactor or two reactors in series or once-through process can be designed flexibly depending on the needs.

2. Performance index
Under the typical operating conditions, the diesel yield is 80 ~ 98 wt%. The sulfur content of diesel is less than 10 wppm, and the solidification point is 20 ~ 35 ℃ lower than that of the feedstock, and can be low to -40 ℃; meanwhile, naphtha with high aromatics potentials is obtained as byproduct.
