Introduction

SINOPEC has been engaged in the R&D on hyrotreating and hytrocracking processes under medium or high pressure conditions for many years. FHC technology is one of the many hydrotreating and hytrocracking technologies developed by SINOPEC and is applied to process heavy gas oil feedstocks for mainly producing superior middle distillates and petrochemical materials (naphtha and hydrocracked tail oil).

Technical Characteristics

1. Single-stage in series process configuration is used with three operating modes: once-through, partial or complete tail oil recycle mode. As a result, the process has high operational flexibility. Through optimizing the selection of the catalyst system, adjusting the operating conditions or altering the operating modes, the desired product slate and cycle run length can be achieved.
2. It has strong adaptability to feedstocks and is able to process VGO or the blends of VGO, CGO and DAO.
3. Chemical hydrogen consumption is low, while liquid yields are high and target products are superior in quality.
