Introduction

On the basis of accumulated experiences in R&D of high pressure and medium pressure hydrotreating and hydrocracking technologies for many years, SINOPEC single-stage, double-catalyst hydrocracking technology (FDC) is used to convert heavy gas oil for maximum production of clean diesel. FDC technology uses one reactor loaded with hydrotreating catalyst and hydrocracking catalyst.

Technical Characteristics

1. FDC technology employs a single reactor in which two main catalysts hydrotreating and hydrocracking catalysts are loaded. Through optimizing grade loading rate of two kinds of catalysts, the reaction temperature is lowered, main target product quality is improved and catalyst cost is reduced reasonably, thus overall performance of this hydrocracking unit is improved.
2. The process unit is simple and easy to operate with low hydrogen consumption and low energy consumption.
3. FDC technology has good feedstock adaptability to process VGO or the mixture of VGO, CGO and DAO.
4. High yield of liquid products, high selectivity of middle distillates, good product quality can be achieved. FDC technology can produce high quality jet fuel, diesel, naphtha with high aromatics potential and lube base oil with low pour point.
5. There are three operation modes, namely once-through, partially and completely tail oil circulation. Production scheme is flexible with wide turndown ratio.
